FlierShip Refund & Cancellation Policy

This Refund & Cancellation Policy (“Policy”) describes how payments, cancellations, and refunds are handled on FlierShip (“we,” “our,” or “us”). By using FlierShip, you agree to this Policy in addition to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.


1. General Principles

  • FlierShip is a peer-to-peer connection platform and does not own or directly provide shipping services.
  • Payments are processed through third-party providers. Refund eligibility and timing may depend on their policies.
  • Service fees charged by FlierShip are generally non-refundable unless required by law.

2. Cancellation by Shippers (Senders)

  • Before Acceptance by a Flier: Shippers may cancel a delivery request at any time and receive a full refund, minus any non-refundable service fees.
  • After Acceptance by a Flier: If a Flier has already accepted the request, cancellation may result in a partial refund depending on the stage of delivery and costs incurred.
  • In-Transit Deliveries: Once a parcel has been handed to a Flier, no refunds will be issued.

3. Cancellation by Fliers (Travelers)

  • If a Flier cancels before parcel handoff, the Shipper will receive a full refund, minus any service fees.
  • If a Flier cancels after receiving a parcel, FlierShip will assist the Shipper in arranging an alternative Flier. If unsuccessful, a full refund (including service fees) may be provided.
  • Repeated cancellations by Fliers may result in suspension or termination of their account.

4. Sea Freight & Large-Scale Shipments

  • Deposits or advance payments for sea freight services may be non-refundable, unless cancellation is made before booking confirmation.
  • Refund eligibility depends on third-party logistics provider terms. FlierShip will disclose these terms before confirming the shipment.

5. Shopper Purchases

  • Once a Shopper places a purchase request and it is accepted by a Flier or partner, cancellations are not guaranteed.
  • If the requested item cannot be purchased or delivered, a full refund will be issued.

6. Refund Processing

  • Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 7–14 business days, depending on the payment processor.
  • FlierShip is not responsible for delays caused by banks or third-party providers.

7. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be provided if:

  • The parcel contains prohibited or undeclared items (see Terms of Service, Section 7).
  • The Shipper provides incorrect or incomplete delivery information.
  • The Shipper or Shopper violates our Terms of Service.
  • Delays occur due to customs, security checks, natural events, or other uncontrollable circumstances.

8. Disputes

  • Users are encouraged to resolve disputes directly with one another.
  • If a resolution cannot be reached, FlierShip may review the case and issue a fair determination at its discretion.
  • FlierShip’s decision regarding refunds and cancellations is final.

9. Changes to Policy

We may update this Policy at any time. Changes will take effect upon posting to the Platform. Continued use of FlierShip after changes indicates acceptance.
